1. The printed rulebook will be provided in English, however all games in the LUDOS Asia Collection are language-independent.
2. Backers can volunteer to work on additional language translations. Translations will be gradually made available online in the form of digital rulebooks in the coming months. With each campaign we run, we try to give back to the countries that inspire our games. In the past, using our own funds, we donated games and funds to various NGOs. This time we are donating games to schools in various countries. When in Nepal, we stumbled upon their national game, Bagh Chal. Later we learned that this more than 1000 year old game is slowly becoming forgotten. We decided to look for more ancient games and strive to preserve them for future generations by giving them a fresh new look and listing them on Kickstarter to raise awareness. Thus, the LUDOS collection was born, featuring ancient strategy board games from Asia (this time), Africa, Europe and the Americas (coming soon).

At Lemery Games we are making a series of games inspired by the beautiful countries we visited together. Each game in the series takes players to a new country, equipped with the items (suitcase game box, passport rulebook…) necessary to complete an important mission. Players start their journey in the colorful Mexico, where they join the Chili Mafia with the aim to become the most respected chili mafia boss. Then they continue their travels across the globe to the culturally rich country of Nepal, to fulfil their mission of Reviving Kathmandu. They work as architects and try to rebuild the earthquake-hit city of Kathmandu. Once they helped revive the city, they embark on their next journey to the country of the rising sun—Japan. 1. Soon after the campaign ends, we will open the Backerkit pledge manager, where you’ll be able to pick add-ons (additional items) and provide your shipping address.
2. Once the prototype proofing stage is over, we will immediately send the game to mass production.
3. Manufacturing can take quite some time (roughly 2 months), depending on the quantity and the availability of raw materials. Once manufacturing is finished, the games will be freight shipped, go through customs and arrive at our warehouses. The warehouse staff will carefully inspect and sort all games. Once inspected, they will pick and pack your purchased items, label each box, and ship it to the address you provided. Please note that there could be delays at any point along the way, but we and our partner companies will do our best to make the whole process as smooth as we possibly can.
4. That being said, we are planning to deliver your package to your doorstep by December 2024, just in time for Christmas.

It would not be accurate to include local taxes in the price as it differs from country to country. As we ship worldwide, the local taxes will be calculated and added in the Pledge Manager after the campaign, once everyone entered their shipping address. So for example if you are located in the EU, you will be required to pay roughly 21% VAT in the Pledge Manager (depending on your country). You may see the game in certain stores in the future, as some stores purchase games through the Kickstarter campaign. Other than that, we have some distribution partners in the US, Hungary, Ukraine and China - but we have no agreement on LUDOS Asia as of now, so there is a chance that LUDOS Asia will not hit stores. After the campaign, you’ll be able to purchase the game in the pledge manager (for a limited time) and then on our website: www.lemerygames.com. However, please note that the MSRP (retail price of the game) will be higher than the prices on Kickstarter.
